I. Project Introduction

1. What Is edgeX?

EdgeX is building a parallel, modular, and application-specific execution layer that features Ethereum-level security.

2. How Does edgeX Operate?

(1) Core Product Features: i. Futures Trading: Supports altcoins, Real-World Assets (RWA) like gold, silver, and copper, stocks, and pre-launch markets. ii. Spot Trading: (Beta) Currently supports three trading pairs. iii. Prediction Market: (Beta) Content coming soon. iv. eStrategy: A liquidity provision and strategic trading protocol. eLP is the only live feature at this time. eLP is a vault that provides liquidity to edgeX through various market-making strategies. Revenue is generated from market-making fees, liquidation fees, and a portion of trading fees. Current TVL is $113M with an APR of 53%. v. Earn: A task-based reward system. vi. Messenger: A premium tier for elite users. Requirements include a personal trading volume ≥ 80M USDT and 50 valid referrals to unlock exclusive benefits.

(2) edgeX V1 is a high-performance decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) model. Every trade on edgeX V1 is settled on Ethereum, utilizing the StarkEx Layer 2 engine to verify on-chain transaction logic and prevent fraud or erroneous trades.

(3) EDGE Stack: An application-specific Rollup on Ethereum. The EDGE Stack is an App-Specific Execution Layer custom-built for high-performance on-chain trading.  By leveraging a Modular Multi-VM architecture, Deterministic Parallel Transaction Execution (PTE), and FlashLane (QoS scheduling + multi-channel execution), the EDGE Stack delivers high throughput, low latency, and fully verifiable matching for complex derivatives like perpetuals. As a core component of the Rollup ecosystem, the EDGE Stack ultimately inherits the robust security of Ethereum.

3. Who Created edgeX?

According to public information, the project was incubated by Amber Group.

Funding Details:

On February 10, 2026, Circle Ventures announced a strategic investment in edgeX (valuation and terms undisclosed). As part of this partnership, Circle is integrating native USDC and its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) into the EDGE Chain ecosystem to enhance liquidity and interoperability.

4. edgeX Tokenomics

The total supply of the edgeX (EDGE) is 10 billion, with the token allocation and vesting details as follows:

Genesis Issuance (25%): Full unlock at TGE.

Pre-TGE Season (5%): Full unlock 24 hours post-TGE.

Liquidity (5%): Details TBD.

Ecosystem & Community (5%): 12-month cliff, then 24-month linear release.

Foundation (5%): 12-month cliff, then 24-month linear release.

Future Reserves (30%): 18-month cliff, then 24-month linear release.

Core Contributors (25%): 24-month cliff, then 24-month linear release.

Token Utility: EDGE is the native token and governance asset of the EDGE ecosystem. Its functionality is designed to evolve alongside the protocol’s maturity and community growth. (1) Governance: EDGE empowers holders to shape the platform’s future by voting on edgeX Improvement Proposals (eIPs). (2) Staking: Holders can contribute to network security via a delegated validator system. By delegating EDGE to validators—who are responsible for transaction verification and maintaining the integrity of the edgeX order book—stakers earn a share of the protocol's trading rewards. (3) Ecosystem Growth: As the protocol expands, EDGE will serve as an incentive tool to support developer grants, early adopter programs, and liquidity provision rewards.

5. Timeline & Key Milestones

August 3, 2024: edgeX Labs launches its flagship high-performance application, the edgeX exchange.

January 7, 2026: Launch of the Pre-TGE Season, marking the transition of EDGE Chain into its open beta phase.

February 10, 2026: edgeX secures a strategic investment from Circle Ventures.

March 31, 2026: Official Token Generation Event (TGE) for edgeX.​
